Serving Southern Colorado Since 1978
It all began in a modest warehouse located on Mountview Lane off North Nevada Avenue in 1978 (just northwest of the old dog track). Bircham’s Office Products was born and pioneered the first copiers to Colorado Springs and Pueblo with the Royal Litton (now Konica Minolta) brand and Mita (now Kyocera) brand of copiers. We also introduced the first affordable fax machines to the business community- Panafax (aka Panasonic).
As the business grew with increased demand, the company renovated the old Bob’s Cafe building (our owner, Paul Bircham, ate at Bob’s with his family in the 70’s) located at the corner of Fillmore and Nevada in 1984. As the industry transitioned from analog to digital in the late 90s- reliability of copiers improved exponentially. Manufacturers introduced color and it has remained a consistent feature required by business. As the demand for office technology soared in 2017, the company rebranded its name to Axis Business Technologies. The rebranding was a better reflection of the products and services the company supported, and our goal to be the premier office solutions provider in Colorado Springs.
Through it all we have remained focused on providing same day service with integrity and professionalism with world class manufacturers to meet your organization’s demands. We are the only remaining locally owned office technology company in Southern Colorado from this era. Even more remarkable is that we still have customers who have been with us for all these years!
We believe in doing business locally- not with Denver based companies. Keeping the dollars in our Southern Colorado local community helps grow our local economy. In fact, the US Chamber of Commerce estimates that every dollar spent at local businesses creates an additional 50 cents in local business activity as a result of employee spending and businesses purchasing local goods and services. As the only local office solutions provider in Colorado Springs, we make consistent, professional service and support our main priority. We understand your business relies on the hardware and software we sell and service. Since we are local, we can respond to your support needs quickly and efficiently.
With over 200 years of combined technical experience, you can be assured your organization will receive the highest level of technical and customer support.
